Remember Blu-Ray hasn't always outsold HD-DVD, only recently have they pulled ahead in sales, things may change again.

A lot of people like the combo regular DVD/HD-DVD format. People usually have more than one tv and chances are they're not all HD. Not all the HD-DVDs are in the combo format.

I think this Christmas is the big test for this format war. After the holiday dust clears we'll see where they stand.
