I can't speak for the whole of Europe, but I can speak for the UK. We get taxed 17.5% on everything we buy because the Iron Lady decided to pull millions out of thin air.

There is no way that it'll cost over $500 in America because no one there would pay it.

The rest of the world has their prices jacked up to unbelievable amounts (for everything, not just games consoles. Petrol [gas] prices are the obvious thing here) and everyone in America still complains that they have it bad over there.

I think it'll cost $499 in America and the same amount in (different currencies in) Europe. It's a disgrace.
