I did a frame-by-frame look at the two systems with a cartoon, a show, and two movies. Yeah, the image does look a little different. It shows especially on cartoons with their clean lines and high contrast areas. Definitely not enough to ruin the experience at all, especially when you consider that the image quality of netflix is not super-awesome on either system. However, the trade-off comes with the noticeably better frame-rate on PS3, which makes a much bigger difference than pixels in a still frame. It is by no means unwatchable, bad, or somehow worse than on the 360.

I have been a dedicated fan of Instant Watch on the 360 for months, and I was eager to try out the PS3 version. PS3 people PLEASE rest your fears: The experience you will be getting here is 1:1 on the 360, with even some improvements:

1) Overall faster loading times -- a big deal, since the 360 IW program can be slow as heck on a bad day, and sluggish on a good day.
2) HDMI bug is not present: HD content played over an HDMI connection works with sound. On the 360, the sound can be completely missing.
3) PS3 is way quieter. If you have to keep the volume down due to a sleeping SO, it will be much easier to hear.

LET ME RESTATE: There is ZERO (0) drop in quality on PS3 compared to 360, so stop spreading this rumor around.

Gears 2 has the worst netcode I have ever seen. What happened, Epic? Too much Jack Daniels at work or something?

I just got back into this, after kinda, er, forgetting I had it. I'm sick of CoD4, and sometimes it's nice to splatter someone with an impact hammer. This game is a neglected gem. The weapons are extremely balanced, the bots are fantastic, and levels have a really nice flow. It's shame it gets ignored.
