Second Season of 'Jersey Shore' Might Be Shot in South Beach

Feb 10th 2010 2:04PM (AOL TV)
It make sense moving the show to a new location. Jersey shore has gotten really popular on a short time. If they would go back to the jersey shore their fame would probably hinder their daily activities and the reality aspect of the show. You already saw how some people behaved towards them because they had a camera crew. Now that the whole country knows them, there are probably even more people willing to test the guys and girls of this show. A new environment where theirfame possibly hasn't reach a peak yet is the best thing to do.

MTV orders more Jersey Shore

Great news. I for one absolutely love the show. It's entertainment at its purest form. Watching people do things you wouldn't dare to do because you actually have some sort of self respect or because your moral compass steers you in the other direction, is the greatest thing ever.

Review: Men of a Certain Age - Let It Go

I really laughed out load during this episode. The young guy that Terry works with is just hilarious. Owen's Wife calling her father in Law a dickhole gave me tears. Can't wait to see how Joe is going to get with his fantasy woman and trying to get his gambling problem under control

I agree with all of your picks but the inclusion of Raising the bar and Jersey shore is a grave mistake.

Raising the bar was arguable the best new show. It had great characters and great stories.

Jersey shore is one of the best shows on right know. I'm not joking. I really think it's one of the best shows on TV right now. I mean the situations these guys put themselves in and the things that get out of their mouths. You got multiple sites and blogs full of jersey shore quotes. You couldn't even write something that good. I dare anybody to watch 15 minutes of this show without laughing. You can't ! It's pure comedy.

Jersey Shore: Series Premiere - open thread

I watched the first two episodes and i have to say i laughed all through the show. It's really hilarious. I can understand some Italian Americans being upset by the show but it's so out there that you can't really take it serious. The characters in Jersey shore fit the stereotype because they were probably casted to reflect the "guido" lifestyle (obsessive amounts of hair Gel and protein shakes, loud, muscled), but their behavior isn't any different from the people in any season of The real World. If anyone hasn't seen it i suggest you do.

This show is one of the best comedies I have ever seen. After watching the first episode i thought ABC had a gold mine. Then ic ehcnked the ratings and saw that it bombed. I was truly disappointed when I found out it had been cancelled. But I was more disappointed in people for not watching this show.

Poll: Do you / will you use Windows Media Center in your home theater?

My answer wasn't really in the list but I'm planning on setting up a HTPC but not with WMC but with XBMC running on ubuntu. I'm going to buy a Zotac ION Atom Mini-ITX Motherboard with 4GB memory and a SSD or Acer Revo. The reason for not using WMC is not because of the price but because of the the fact that WMC requires more power than Ubuntu and XBMC. XBMC + Ubuntu runs very light on a ION system and combined with the Nvidia HD decoding chip makes for a perfect HT setup.

How-to: Build a Blu-ray / TV tuner-equipped HTPC for under $1,000

Nice overview but you should have connected the HTPC to a receiver to test the correct handling of HD audio formats. I think most people who are willing to spend a $1000 on a HTPC probably have one sitting at home. What I found strange was the mentioning of having to install riser bolts to install riser bolts in order to lift the motherboard about a centimeter from the case's floor. Isn't this standard procedure when installing a motherboard. I have never built a PC without installing riser bolts.
