It's definitively a good thing BUT MS needs to do something about xbox live in Europe. I mean:
- we pay 60€ / year ( read 90$)
- we get screwed for almost every giveaway with a nice "this program is not offered in your region"
- we have access to only half of the demo / themes / gamerpics
- the video market is just a joke (at least in france)
- and we sometimes hear thing like "ooops sorry we didn't thought there was any COD4 players outside US... yeah the patch sucks ... our bar ..."

no I got my token the same way 23 did, no hiding of my location at anytime.
But once you have a friend who has the beta, there's a way to dl ot on your box and it will work just fine.
I know a lot of people who got the beta that way.

first of all, I think I had one of the first tokens( read got it last wednesday) and I'm french.
How did I? I just registered during the 24 hours. My account as CharlieOscar indicates that I'm french, but I still had my token. So don't blame it "on the frenchs", basically Infinity Wards didn't check.

But as already told, there's indeed a glitch enabling you to give the beta to anyone.
And honestly a lot of French ( and I also think German) did it.
