I'm thinking this might be a bridge game for Mass Effect 3, depending on which ending to Mass 2 is considered default by Bioware. If they go with the TPK then this game may end up being Mass Effect:ODST and introduce Shepard's replacement. If not then this could just be another game entirely that Bioware is going into.

Either way I don't see ME3 coming out until Late '11 or early '12 if not later.

Rebel's didn't use a standard uniform. And since Reach was the most secure planet in UNSC control if people were running around with guns and without uniform, people would immediately freak. Especially since the populace were on hair trigger as well.
