Great giveaway! My email client (Thunderbird) has gotten stale and I'm not a fan of Mail.app either. I'd love to try an alternative.

Where can I get one of these Windows Phones? I think this is the new iPhone killer! I wish they would have shown more of what the device looks like but even with those quick shots of it I already think I'm in love!

Engadget's recession antidote: win a mophie Juice Pack Air for iPhone 3G!

I could really use one of those. As for the economy: Economies have a funny way of "fixing" themselves. They're made of people, all who will do what is necessary to survive and prosper if left alone. The government is what comes between two consenting parties making transactions when it introduces regulatory laws that tell them they can't trade the way they want. This raises prices and stifles trade unnaturally. Remove the government meddling and let free people trade freely, and the economy will correct itself. It would also be a ridiculously good idea to end the Federal Reserve's wanton printing of fiat Monopoly money, and return the country to a commodity-backed currency.

That was a landmark keynote for Apple and for Engadget. Love or hate the iPhone, the announcement was pretty groundbreaking around here.

I'll take it, please? The solution to the economy can be found in the wonderful world of the Austrian school of economics. Check out the writings of Ludwig von Mises, Milton Friedman, F.A. Hayek, and Murray Rothbard.
