I wish they didn't have so much power in the industry.

Apr 2nd 2012 2:47PM (Joystiq)I'm actually glad. Bungie has so much power when it came to talks with Activision. The had so much power that Bungie has almost full freedom in the development of their game. In addition, Bungie also holds full rights to the IP of their new project.
Activision is just a mere publisher in that deal. Much better than Microsoft's puppet.

A load of traditional console-only games are making their way onto the PC and we are getting new PC- exclusive investments as well. Hopefully Sega keeps porting more of their more Japanese-centric games onto PC as well.
Cheaper to develop, less red tape compared to consoles, and less risk.
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition getting OSX version, cross-platform multiplayer
