@ScoobyMaroon 100% agree, however I don't think it was the game's fault - it just isn't my style of gameplay - I think it's mostly the fault of the reviewers that have been hyping it so much.

Personally when I get into a game, I like choosing my path, and it just seems that even if you do everything right, the storyline as to what happens to Cole with his job and life, he ends up going down the same path. I just hate that concept and it bothers me to no end.

What I don't get is how the publishers are acting like the buying of a used game is equal to stealing. It's like saying that if you rent or purchase a game secondhand, you're a thief.

Perhaps I'm the only one with this viewpoint, but it just feels like a great big insult.

I'm thinking that even if she'd been another second back, she'd still have gotten nailed by the piece of wood. Avoiding a stopped object is even difficult at a 2 second following distance. A pothole is one thing, but when a 2x4 is headed towards the center of your car, you have to move at least 3 feet either direction to avoid it (which would likely be more dangerous than hitting the brakes and covering your face).

I've had to deal with trucks doing this before, but thankfully they were both Werner transport trucks and they both had a "call to report my driving" number on the back. Called the operator, gave them both truck's numbers, and within a minute they both pulled off into the same lane. They were side-by-side for almost 15 minutes through a 2-lane stretch of I-80 through Pennsylvania.

Oh, and a side note... that is a huge gap in front of her when it comes to Chicago-area traffic. Maintaining a 1 second following distance is like asking to be cut off and given the finger around here.

The standard cost of living increase around the US is typically around the 2-3% range... what is the big deal if Toyota raises their prices 1.2-2.1%? Really, all manufacturers do it, it's just being advertised this time for some reason...

Ok kids, lets do the math...

- 1 AA/SMD 18" sub has a one-way excursion of 32mm, so an overall travel of 64mm (2.52").
- The cutout diameter for a box is 16.75", so guessing around 16.5" OD for the cone itself
- Volume calcs here come out to moving 538.8 cubic inches per full movement
- Multiply by 4 subs, and you've got 2155.2 cubic inches
- 2155.2 cubic inches = 9.33 gallons

So at 1Hz, that sub is moving 9.33 gallons/second. Or at the sub's free-air resonance (29.7Hz), that box is moving 277.1 GALLONS/SECOND.

Holy hell that is a lot of air.

Having all the info could help avoid confusion...

So Allied said they needed more money to ship (don't know if they're under a contract with GM or what), then GM declined, Allied refused to ship unless they got the extra money, GM just contracted someone else, and Allied still had 1700 vehicles to finalize shipment on, to which they're holding out on GM.

Sounds a little like extortion to me. Or possibly breach of contract. Either way, this is for the courts to figure out, I'm sure.

Does it really make any sense releasing a driving simulator game to the xBox market when Microsoft puts the lockdown on wheel/pedal accessories? Really, I'd love to replace my old wheel/pedal set that I made for my PS2 years ago, but I just can't justify it with the horrible force feedback wheel that Microsoft released.

After their crappy attempt at making an app for Android (Words with Friends that crashes 98% of the time), it's likely a good thing they aren't developing for the small market of the xBox, as they'd do it half-assed and just piss everyone off even more.
