Joystiq hands-on: Killzone 2

Oct 8th 2008 1:15PM (Joystiq)
yah it's so common to let game sites review a pre-alpha version of a game and then let them post a review of it.... Expect many of those problems to still be there come final release.

of course they couldn't. The blu-ray functionality is responsible for a huge portion of the PS3's sales. While those sales may not be direct, game related competition for the 360, mindshare matters.

there are millions of current 360 owners who have neither a ps3 nor a stand alone player who would disagree with you. If they follow through on a $100 drive, it will sell plenty to existing customers and help make some new ones.

Lego Universe could add Indiana Jones, Star Wars content

how about patching in some damned online play in Indy and Batman??? Star Wars had it and it worked great, but you leave it out of these? RIP OFF!

AC/DC track pack to include Achievements, Trophies

The songs cost 22 cents more per track than the usual $2. They're just not cutting anyone a discount for buying the entire disc like they would if it were DLC. If you'd pay $2 per song and you like AC/DC it's not a horrible deal. Hell it's still cheaper than what you'd pay if it were DLC for GH3. Besides, it'll be discounted within a few weeks of release.

AC/DC LIVE: Rock Band Track Pack on Nov. 2 at Wal-Mart and Sam's Club [update]

I don't even think it's a matter of not being able to afford masters, especially in this case. AC/DC does not do greatest hits, compilations or singles yet, period. If they couldn't get complete masters from any specific album that they wanted, this is the best way to get their best songs and still do it the way the band wants it done.

There are only really two albums in their entire catalog that, to me, are worth a full album treatment. So this really is the best route to take. Though I'd much prefer Bon on his songs, but hey, gotta do what you gotta do. It Won't be any less fun!

c'mon, it's not like joystiq is a reputable news outlet. I love the site but they never pass on an opportunity to create unrest among game fans by conveniently leaving out details that couldn't have been missed if they had only read the source article.

it's clearly mentioned in the walmart link that it has a code so you can download them into the 360 or ps3 versions of the game.

If you don't know their catalog better than that, why even post like it matters.
