Boxee Box confirmed to have Tegra 2, Boxee Beta now open to all

Jan 7th 2010 5:50PM (Engadget)
@altarity: And THAT'S why I'm excited about it... pending the price, of course.

LG GW990 phone busted running Moorestown with heaps of want

Jan 6th 2010 7:27PM (Engadget)
I'd love to get excited about this, but it just feel like I'd be setting myself up for disappointment down the road. It'd really be nice to have something like this as a plaything.

What price will the market dictate for such devices?

Ralph de la Vega: AT&T launching two webOS devices!

When's Palm's press conference again? It'd be nice to see whether or not they've got a new, upper echelon WebOS device to reveal. I'm definitely a fan of their software, but the hardware has been lacking thus far.

Microsoft to reveal HP built Courier slate tomorrow?

Please be the Courier, please be the Courier.

Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid: laptop by day, unhinged tablet by night

This is EXCEEDINGLY interesting. I'm very much looking forward to hearing more about the port compliment and extended specs.

'Major' Apple announcement coming January 27th, devs already working with beta SDK (update: shipping in March)

Jan 4th 2010 7:25PM (Engadget)
A price point at or around $1000 would lend credence to the murmurings that Apple intends to replace the low-end Macbook with this tablet and would, to my mind, also insinuate that the OS in question is closer to a "conventional" computer operating system than the pared-down interface of the iPhone/iPod Touch family. Of course, all of this is based upon conjecture at this point so... I guess I'll sit by quietly until a proper reveal.

Exclusive: Google Nexus One hands-on, video, and first impressions

Jan 2nd 2010 8:51PM (Engadget)
Sigh. When are we going to see a Palm device with these sort of stats? I'm quite enamored with Android, but WebOS has a certain elegance that hasn't been matched just yet. The Pre's weakest element lies in its hardware.

Allegedly leaked Nexus One purchase page answers, raises questions (update: we've got the terms of sale)

@CallDon:

For what it's worth, they seem to have gotten better. I live on the south side of Downtown Dallas (in Desoto) and a couple years ago, when I had them, I couldn't even really get coverage in my house. That's not the case anymore. I even get 3G. I still wouldn't sign a CONTRACT with T-Mobile, but I explicitly chose them again because I didn't want to sign a cell phone contract again at all.

And, of course, their coverage seems to work very well in downtown Dallas itself, where I spend every weekend.

Nexus One finally caught on video alongside its packaging (updated)

@Toby: The phrase "cock tease" comes to mind. It'll be dripped it according to what brings them the most attention. Why? I haven't a clue. Especially since their "website" seems ill-equipped for any substantial exposure.

HTC Hero caught running Android 2.1?

Nov 29th 2009 11:55PM (Engadget)
@Uncontrol

I don't know what's nerdier: that you made this reference at all, or that I got it and lulled. Or used the term "lulled".
