Is it just me, or is every single sound in this game recycled from Half Life 2 or Counter Strike: Source? Hopefully they put some more effort into the audio.
Also, it seems like all of the guns are way too small, especially compared to the guy's hands.
This looks like it would be awesome as a free mod/TC, but for retail? I'm a bit skeptical.
I'm glad Bioshock is more FPS than RPG. Nothing ruins an immersive game experience more than adding an encumbrance system, a complicated inventory system, requiring the player to periodically eat food just to stay alive, degrading equipment that must be repaired, etc.
STALKER sucked because it put too much of this kind of mundane, annoying, and un-fun RPG crap into what would have been a great FPS.
I'm also glad Bioshock is towards the easy end of the difficulty spectrum. Nothing is more annoying in a game than having to spend hours replaying a level 20 times because it is just artificially, stupidly difficult. The fun part of Bioshock is the exploration and the storyline, and thus making the game more difficult would not enhance the gameplay experience at all.
