Paypal accounts for World of Warcraft gold sellers now on notice
Jan 30th 2011 3:48AM (Joystiq)That's actually not quite true. The AH charges 2 different fees - a posting fee and a fee once the item has sold. The posting fee is a % of the items sale value, and is refunded if the item sells. The second fee is a flat percentage of what the items sold for - I believe it's 5% on a normal AH, and 10% for the neutral AH.
The reason why sought-after items are so ridiculously expensive right now is the lack of a big gold sink in cataclysm - everyone is rolling in gold with nothing to spend it on. People complained endlessly about having to pay for flying training, but gold sinks like that are necessary to keep an MMO economy in check.

Nov 6th 2010 7:02AM (Joystiq)You can even go farther than using the built-in cheat codes. You can open up any single player mission in the editor and modify it and even upload the modified mission to battle.net for others to play. I find it hard to believe that there's any legitimate use for third-party cheating programs when they've given you the tools to modify the game in any way you'd like...
