I love how all of the haters want to dictate what McElroy should write. It's *his* review, *his* thoughts, and *his* style of gaming, not a collective of all readers' inputs.

If you think Brink's good, then great. Go out and support Splash Damage and Bethesda and buy the game. Play it to your heart's content. Write your own reviews. Recommend it to friends and forums.

And if you don't like McElroy's writing, then stop reading them. Hurt Joystiq where it matters, page views resulting in loss of advertising. That will prompt changes in the editorial team.

Just don't force a person to think the way you do.

@BigEgo007 That's what all reviews are for. It gives you stuff to look out for, but ultimately, what matters is your own preferences.

@Ohmwrecker Read your article over at the link you posted, and I'm just curious what would be an average Gamer Score for someone who's not really an excellent gamer (or not interested in completing every achievement available per game) but still played Brink for a fairly good amount of time? I'm not as hardcore a gamer as you guys are, so I'm not that into having really high Gamer Scores. Just noticed that you used that line of reasoning to show that this review is half-baked.

@Veg They did do a lot of things right in their lifetime. For example, making the original Sonic the Hedgehog.

@Nexum Like I replied to another person, Hotz' exploit is solely for the PS3 hardware, if I recall correctly, and nothing tied to the PSN service. Hackers will always find places to steal information, and they don't give a hoot if it's PSN, XBox Live, WiiWare, or some other service. As long as there is financial information that can be stolen and the service has security loopholes, it will be attacked. Let's not stray from the topic at hand.
