I think my favorite scene in this movie is when the arrows rain down from the sky after turning the sky back.. the way the Spartans just seem so nonplussed by the arrows raining down on their shields was really great.
I set it up nice and quickly when I got home yesterday. It looks so small and unassuming in my entertainment center, since I had to put it horizontal due to space issues. I loaded it up, created a Mii, and logged about an hour and a half on Wii Sports. It seems everyone has a different favorite (though many seem to like bowling). For me, Bowling and Golf were the most entertaining to play alone.
I then loaded in Zelda. My mom came up to check out Zelda (being an old-school Zelda fan) and watched for a few minutes before she noticed my DS and asked about it. I set her up with Tetris and she sat next to me playing Tetris while I played some Zelda for about an hour. I reached a stopping point and she asked if we could play some bowling. After some initial adjustment, she started bowling pretty well.
My sister came home from work and we played some more Wii sports. For multiplayer, tennis seems to be the most entertaining. Golf and Bowling are a little slow, with having to trade off.. maybe better when there's more than one person. She then watched me play Zelda for a while.
I haven't even touched Trauma Center yet, and various videos and reviews make me want DBZ: T2. Overall.. Wii Sports is a pretty solid tech demo (except baseball sucks) and Zelda is the freakin' Zelda game I've been waiting for for over 2 years now.. thank God!
My favorite beat 'em up was the TMNT arcade game on the NES, because my sister and I used to play that for hours on end, even though we rarely got very far.
I do remember the first time we beat it, though. Great game.
We really need to know by the end of August. I mean, last year, they didn't announce anything official about the 360 as far as launch date/price until August 18th, I believe was the date. Even then, we didn't find out the launch lineup until about two weeks before the launch.
Nintendo needs to give people some time to start planning and get really excited about the system launch.
As many have said before, the only way it could work is if they released two different versions of multi-disc games.
What I hope they wouldn't do if they went that route would be to have the regular edition be DVD9 and the collector's or special edition with added content be HD-DVD. I like to buy special editions, and that would stop really quick if they started doing that.
Sounds to me like the controversy over the game should decrease a little bit. I think everyone was under the impression that you played AS the bully, not as someone fighting off bullies.
Though I can't help but wonder if the game was delayed so much in order for Rockstar to change that around after what happened with GTA.
