A kid getting paid to skateboard all day is no different than a kid being paid to play videogames or poker all day. Or hell, even a professional basketball player. No game has an important impact on society.

There is a very small group of MLG pro-gamers and it takes a ridiculous amount of skill to be in that group just like any other competitive event.

LOL, with the extreme lack of support, lack of additional content, extreme plethora of cheating and glitching that occurs in call of duty I find it hilarious that they would even think about charging monthly fees on top of XBL subscriptions, internet bills, etc.
