A 'D' for the Gamecube? pfft. I agree with #5 (KrazyIan)...a 'D' is a bit harsh. I would have given them maybe a C or C+. Plus considering that the numbers (if they are correct) 23m (xbox) vs. 21m (cube) are not even remotely close to be "horrible."
It also doesn't matter that the Xbox is a new system either. This isn't comparing what system is better b/c it is newer or which company has better experience. This is comparing how they did in THIS generation.
Damn...I really need to pick up this game and try it out. If it's even remotely similar to Trauma Center then I'm sure I'll dig it. Trauma Center might have been pretty tough but it was fun as hell.
It's still bad placement for Sony (and the PR firm they hired) to put them there. If you were a cop in a bad neighborhood trying to clean up the drugs in the city, would you want some big corporation putting up a billboard that says "Do drugs! They're cool!" ?
They might not have been offensive but putting the "Take a running leap" ad right next to subway tracks wasn't the smartest thing to do especially when according to the original story (I think), the city was trying to cut down on people jumping on the tracks.
Ok so I was off by a little bit BUT you are thinking that b/c they bought the US division of Psygnosis that they bought the ENTIRE company...they DIDN'T. The UK division of Psygnosis was responsible for developing the Wipeout series...always has been. Sony didn't buy them until AFTER they completed development of Wipeout for the Saturn and N64. By the time Wipeout XL was released, they were owned by Sony and it wasn't until later they their name was changed to 'Studio Liverpool.'
The Wipeout series is one of my all-time favorite game series so I know the history of where its been.
...as for the negative stars, those are from an 'unprofessional' mod from Joystiq that has a grudge against me and is biased on who he edits.

The only one that is 'really' creepy (to me) is the "Dividead" one. The rest are just 'ehh.'
