joeybeast, while I agree with you, this needs to happen or else the Sonys and Microsofts won't ever change their attitudes. Hopefully it will only take a couple of games to become hugely successful on other platforms before Microsoft changes its policy.

As much as I probably would have liked to play it on my xbox, good for them not putting up with this BS and moving over to the competitor.

I can't say I disagree with you, but with the old 360s, sadly it's a reality.

It's either now when they're cheap or 6-12 months from now when these are gone and the new models are back at $200 with minor changes that have little to no use for me. In the meantime, I have a spare for guests or traveling. At this point, they're starting to become disposable.

For the most part, why would anyone buy these packages if not for a secondary purpose? The bundled extras in the higher priced bundles are still a better deal based on the insane prices of MS accessories. Some of which have already been brought up numerous times on this site.

I bought one yesterday to act as a spare once my Halo edition red rings again.

Anyways, the specs you give are true. In addition, the manufacture date of the new box was December 30th, 2009 - a lot newer than I expected.
