Do you have trouble keeping track of how many fingers you have? I'll give a hint. It's the same number as when you were born. Kinda like how Ferrari has the same number of models as they had 10 years ago. It's not like they're building half-assed SUVs and sedans like some other sellouts. Burn!

i have a hard time believing this. No way they would just give up on a developer before their game has come out. Warhawk could be a hit, and if it is, why wouldn't Sony keep them?

I'm almost positive Sony owns the rights to Twisted Metal. That's why 989 studios made TM3 and TM4 when SingleTrac stopped making PS1 games.

God this is huge in my mind. I've been waiting for a PSP movie DL service forever. At least now we have an announcement with a name, which means this is practically a near inevitability. Now they just have to make sure they come up with a smart pricing structure. If we're looking at UMD-like prices, this will be the biggest letdown ever.

This makes a lot of sense. Team Ninja defintely has a fetish for developing for the least popular most powerful system.

Load times can be sharply reduced with the PS3 if devs utilize the hard drive as a data cache. Ridge Racer does an awesome job of this and Ninja Gaiden Sigma will do it too. I know a lot of you are gonna say that the hard drive's gonna fill up with game data, but who cares? Do you really need to have every game in your collection cached on your hard drive? Most people don't play more than 3-4 different games at a time anyway. Plus its not like you can't play games if they're not cached on the HD. So IMO, the PS3 can have its cake and eat it too.

This is just brilliant marketing. most hardcore xbox fans aren't too much into JRPGs. But most hardcore xbox fans do hate Ken Kutaragi. So Sakaguchi's just pandering to the crowd to generate more sales among the xbox faithful. Good work.

it looks like now that PS3 owners can play the games too, Sony's getting more support from other developers for the PSN. Or maybe they already had the support, but were holding off on releasing games until they could make 'em PS3 compatible.

this is a promotion by the UNITED STATES branch of Sony Computer Entertainment, so those complaining about Sony hating your country, stop. Go complain to Sony Europe or something for being behind the ball.

are the PS1 games gonna run in 320x240 on the PS3 like they do on the PSP? Cuz that would be lame.
