I prefer the 2000 to 3000 and you might get it cheaper. Just look into the differences (not much) before you decide.

even still MGS uses L2 and R2 to bring up the menu (items w/ L2, weapons with R2)

You CAN! through remote play but its not perfect (works fine for RPG's but not when you need fast reaction time)

OR BETTER YET! you can rip a PS1 game, and put it on your psp yourself if you homebrew/hack it.

you can pick ad adjusted layout, common theme is to hold select like a Shift key to make L1 and R1 into L2 and R2.
You need to make it a little different depending on the game.
I already beat MGS1 on my PS3 and used PSP to remote play some of it. I forgot what scheme i used b/c select is the codec button...

This would be great if i didn't already beat all my old PS1 Favorites during the dry spells of the PS3.
I still have my MGS (2 copies actuallly, best MGS game) and my FFVII + IX (9 is better) and my Castlevania:SOTN (best game ever) and Marvel vs Capcom and Bushido Blade 2 (not on PSN yet but it should be)

This is why you hold onto good games, dont fall for gamestops crap, these games are worth 10x what i paid now.

I for one hate it cause of trophies.

I like getting platinum, but i've never gotten a multiplayer trophy. So i can't get platinum in games that have multi. trophies. So i also dont bother getting all the story trophies.
its not that i couldn't get any, but theres no way im getting all multi trophies.

I REALLLY HOPE Uncharted 2 and Bioshock (my top 2 this fall) dont do this but i know they will. (itsn't the reward/level system enough? why have Multiplayer trophies)
Uncharted 1 w/ rewards/trophies/medals was a perfect system.

But i hate multiplayer and thats my opinion, if i like it maybe i would want/understand the trophy part. (you can get #1 in match but just playing when no one else is or whatever, story trophies are the same for everyone)

That said, Uncharted 2 Co-Op was quite fun (the 1 of 10 times i got matched w/ competent People and we finally beat it)
Competitive looks fun, but just isn't to me, not yet at least, but i'll keep trying cause i love uncharted that much. TF2 on the Orange box was the only one i played here and there.

I know really, Watching that uncharted 2 trailer alone kinda makes everything else dull. I leaked multiple different bodily fluids after that.
Still crazy excited for God of War III and Heavy Rain and Bioshock 2.

IX is better anyway. I still have my hard copy (VII and IX). I beat IX about 6 months ago and i still love it.
Just dont charge an arm and a leg....
