If the psp2 also lets you play any psn game you already bought on it. I will def buy it. If it can handle early ps3 game ports, it should be able to handle any psn game already released other than the full games like burnout paradise and such.

Shouldn't our 1st amendment rights protect us and allow us to "say" whatever we want on xbox live? You might be saying no cause its not a political forum and is a privately run service, but I'm pretty sure there have been gamerpictures that came out years ago for McCain/Obama so doesn't that make xbox live a political forum where our 1st amendment rights should be honored?

Only thing I could see it for is to have a public world set up that anyone could log into and a portal to a "VIP/Whitelisted" world for regulars.

Otherwise I don't really care for this. Was just trying to show how simple the concept behind it was.

-Run into portal
-Loading screen (which is actually disconnecting you from current server and reconnecting you to another server)
-Come out of other side of portal

Servers wouldn't even have to be linked to each other or have permission from another server's admins to "portal" to them, but the portals would have to be told what IP they are connecting to after they disconnect...Kinda like how you tell it what IP you want to play SMP on now, but its a portal within a server telling the game to do it if you ever run through it. Doesn't sound like it would take much to figure out how to program that in.

As I said in my post. That was my plan to begin with. That's the same thing I did with Fallout 3. I bought Fallout 3 for PS3 for my father at full price and pirated it on PC for myself. I was going to do the same with this Fallout but because they are shafting PS3 owners just cause they want a few dollars from Microsoft upfront I just won't support them at all. I couldn't care less about douchebag points, there is always someone out there that will think you are a douche even if you aren't.

I will end up buying him the GOTY edition when it comes out either used or at a lower price or just get the regular edition and get all the DLC from my friends PSN account for free instead of buying them myself to support the company. But for now, it is a no buy, even though it was up until today. And its pretty shady for them to announce this the day before the game releases, what an amazing business they are running. Thankfully I never preorder games or order them from amazon.
