Adding Gameboy, Color, Advance games to Virtual Console

They may not be blaming video games for this in Montreal, but I am in Winnipeg, and a day after the shootings there was a FULL page article in the Free Press about violent video games related to this issue.

I have to commend the game creator in his interview, he came across as sincere and knowledgeable and I think his comments rang true about staying in touch with your kids.

Involved in the ESRB or not, it's a medium as a whole, with all game creators involved, and the more we send the same message (stay in touch with your kids, know what they are doing with their time) the better it will be heard.

When it comes to the Virtual Console, sames such as Zelda (that came with the huge overworld map) or Final Fantasy 1 (which came with multiple weapons, monsters and dungeon maps).. if these games are available, what will they do for the assisting documentation?

.. allow the user to pause, and bring up the original included documents for viewing on the screen? .. that would be great, but I haven't heard anything about anything on the topic..

Did Nintendo not say long ago that they were going to price their console so that the consumer would be in a position to have an additional console besides theirs?

Nintendo is going to be making the "Party Console" that you, your family, and your friends play.

Microsoft and Sony are making the "Gamer's Console" that you will play the latest Hi-Def, Adult games on.

Nintendo doesn't want to "Win" the gaming market, and honestly, neither does Mircosoft or Sony. They all want the market to grow, and if by having Microsoft console owners also buy a Wii (and vice versa), then by all means, the market gets that much more income and lives to see another day.

Obviously Microsoft is not threatened by the Wii, but at the same time, they don't want to dismiss it either.

Why does every game that comes out for the DS and not take advantage of every bell and whistle that it has "Not a DS Game"?
Sure, Brain Training gets you to write, read, and juggle while standing on your head.
Not everyone wants to do these things all the time for every game.
Sometimes, just a simple side scroller that is enjoyable is what the masses ask for.

If you want "DS Games".. play with your Nintendog while I blast some mushrooms with fireballs.
