I do wish people would stop using the fact that 360s being available for purchase are a negative against Sony. It just speaks of jealousy. It's like saying the 2006 Porsche Turbo is the best car because the 2008 Acura NSX isn't even out yet.

You guys are making illogical arguments and only helping the non-360 fanboys.

They should have just named it "Halo Player" instead of 360. That's all Microsoft seems to care about. The system is capable of some great things, don't limit it to "alright" games while everyone is waiting for the next Halo to come around. Give us the great games now!

If Nintendo said the name would be "Bowl of Dicks" that sure wouldn't stop me from buying what is a very cool system.

I think Sony would prefer to loose money instead of market share.

I bet the executives at Sony Japan would have gladly lost a couple hundred million on a successful MP3 player system than to have to watch Apple grow to top dog.

At a price point like that I think there will be a lot of people picking up both a PS3 and a Revolution this holiday season.

Fakes or not, I really hope there is a new Mario game for the Revolution within the system's first year.

While these are likely fake, Joystiq could post Mario pics direct from Nintendo and people would still being shouting: "Fake!" I guess we won't really beleive it till we see that plumber's fat ass running across our own TV screens.

So Castlevani is their cover story, not Revolution? I think EGM is having a huge cover story on the Rev, odd that Nintendo Power won't be first.
