Reminds me of the old days of the "Boss Key" feature in DOS games.
You press the Boss Key (usually 'B'), and your game screen instantly gets replaced by a fake spreadsheet image.

Yes, you can still purchase the game used, and then repurchase the incentive material, but you miss the key point:
Consider that you can buy GoW2 new for $60, or used for $55. When the new copy comes with a $5 bonus, the real cost of the two items are both $60. If the price is the same for a new or a used copy, people will buy the new copy.

"little longer" means "not much longer"
"a little longer" means "longer by some unspecified amount"
