@Vidikron I never played the demo but I am currently digging the game. I wouldn't have been disappointed if I payed $60 for it.

@AirIntake Driving into walls disqualifies the current lap or if you are close to the finish line, disqualifies your next lap. Going off the track for like 5 seconds also disqualifies you. Going off track on some corners also disqualifies you.

I always hear the argument that pirates wouldn't have bought the game anyways. But here is the flaw in that. Even though they might not have bought it, they are still getting entertainment out of it. Think of it this way, let's say a person has 20 hours out of a week for entertaniment. If those hours are spent playing pirated games, then the games that they do care about and would have bought aren't getting bought.

If I have a choice of eating crappy free food or buying delicious food, every now and then I am going to pass up the paid food for the crappy.

The problem was not with a competing app store, it's a problem with a competing app store being distributed via the Android app store. As long as this Playstation Suite is downloaded from anywhere else besides the Android Marketplace, then it's not an issue.

@Climhazard That's super and all but the three things you just mentioned are results of hacking and piracy. If nobody copied software, there would be no DRM. If people weren't hacking consoles, there would be no EULA for it. What do you think is going to happen now? Sony just going to open everything up?

In the end, this will only be bad for the consumer. Btw, I never said all hackers were bad.
