This season of Top Gear (Series 12, UK) that just ended included an episode where Clarkson, Hammond, and May did a fuel-economy run across a chunk of Europe to Blackpool, England and the car Hammond picked was the VW Polo BlueMotion. He says at the beginning of the segment that its a 1.6L Diesel rated at 70-72 mpg. After the segment he says the car actually got 80mpg for the trip (of course he was driving pretty conservatively for most of the trip).

I want cops. To run from, to have to look out for, to issue speeding tickets, and to have to wreck to get away from.

I currently use a Pulsar all-analog watch with day/date/24 dials, alarm, and chronograph. I'm quite fond of it, but lust after the nerd status an e-ink watch would give me..

Boy, I sure wouldn't mind winning. Forza 2 is the mother of all racing simulators. The endurance races are brutal. :)

I can confirm that "Free Running" for the PSP is out already in Europe and Asia.. I've aquired a copy already myself (I'm in the US), and it's a pretty decent game.

That's great and all, Scion, but where's the level of customizability that's MADE Scion what it is to it's target audience? I love my tC because she was more or less generic when I got her, and now she's a near-complete work of art, completely unlike any other tC on the road. And don't tell me there are going to be a slew of dealership options. After-market is what makes you different. And that's what has made the Scion line so successful. Any other route will only alienate the core Scion audience.
