GameFly to add 'Unlimited PC Play' this holiday

Aug 10th 2011 7:06AM (Joystiq)
@jasev01 lol I was going to do the same! This was going to be my last month. I have 1 game in my queue, and it's due in October.

It's not even really GF's fault... The games I -really- want to play, I'm pre-ordering, and the rest of them don't even hit the 'mediocre' level, which is where they have to be to get on my queue. (Though, their customer service was rude to me recently, and that factored in a bit... They had never been rude in the past, either...)

GameFly to add 'Unlimited PC Play' this holiday

@sonofman They're just getting started. Give them some time to work things out, and I'm guessing they probably will offer a slightly cheaper version if you just want the PC gaming stuff.

Saints Row: The Third's 'Hyper Ordinary' pre-order pack is madness

Jul 12th 2011 11:44AM (Joystiq)
@broken 4th wall The second one was a solid game. I didn't like the first, but loved the second. It wasn't silly at all.

This one is a radical departure. I'm still going to play it, though.

The link, for anyone who wants it, since Joystiq doesn't seem to bother.

@shattercross New consoles always mean console wars. Why would this round be any different? It's not like they happen because they make sense.

PlayStation Store coming to Android

Jan 27th 2011 6:35AM (Joystiq)
They said 'download', not 'download from Android market'. They likely aren't using that method of delivery. Amazon has a market, too, and you can install anything onto an Android that you like just by downloading it through the built-in browser.

Modern Combat: Domination trailer wants you to know the game costs $8

What, no single player? I guess that was too much to ask for $8.

Kinect Hacks: Projection mapping combined with depth sensing (or: Hadouken!)

@davewunderbar Sadly, no, but he's saying we could have pseudo-3d like Johnny Lee had with the targets on the Wii... But the size of 2-3 walls and ceiling/floor of your room.

Toyota offering free LittleBigPlanet 2 content

THIS is the kind of advertising that we need more of. It gives the gamers something extra WHILE advertising the product in a good light.

Thank you, Toyota.

Razer bringing Onza 'professional' controllers to 360

Jan 7th 2011 6:55AM (Joystiq)
@Ezio Auditore da Firenze I had a PS2 controller with adjustable resistance. It really was worth it. I'm looking forward to these, and hoping they do the same for PS3 as well.
