Having not yet had a chance to watch the entire movie so only able to judge based on the red band trailer this doesn't look like date rape at all.

We enter the scene in the middle of sex and he is calling out her name and realizes she isn't responding and he STOPS at which point she tells him not to. From just this scene alone how can anyone call this rape?

Should he be having sex with a girl who seems very drunk? No. Should he punch a skateboarding kid in the face? No. Should he tazer a guy for apparently no reason? No.

This isn't Sesame Street it is an R rated movie made for adults. The guy clearly doesn't make fantastic choices but from a single scene to classify this movie as glorifying date rape seems like a magnificent jump.

Anyway I will go see it tomorrow and probably laugh at that scene as I did while watching the trailer and from a few of the comments I read on Jezebel I will apparently then go on a vicious rape spree.

And there are as many (probably quite a few more) "scientists" who support creationism and intelligent design as there are saying that global warming doesn't exist.

Oh man this guys is on target I mean he has "played games “professionally” and won thousands of dollars doing it", I wish I could make thousands of dollars doing something... oh wait I due it's called my pay check from being a programmer.

I wish Apple or one of the 32 thousand flavors of Linux tried to make gaming better for me, I mean then it would be so awesome... oh wait no it would suck. But at least if Apple did it, it would have a flashy user interface and make random attacks at MS (Shit sorry I mean M$... sweet now I'm cool) while it sucked.

So lets see... consoles seem to be the new king of gaming... people like the features of consoles (and by that I mean Xbox Live as Sony and Nintendo could not look more incompetent in the area of online gaming) so lets move that to PCs.

Hmm... It didn't work perfectly in the first month, any idea why? Oh could it be the 5.3 billion different configurations people run on their PC's? But who cares about that, I mean most have you have almost got that copy of "Hello, World" debugged... shit I mean if you, living in your mom's basement, can get hello world on your OSX/Linux/Pirated Windows (I mean who pays for windows? the 70,000+ employees are all part of the evil plan to destroy/copy your awesome Linux/OSX, why should they have an income, you don't) working why shouldn't MS be able to make a flawless product the first time?

10) Wait complaining about the launch? When did computer geeks become Hollywood big shots... it launches when it launches... but this guy is "an engineer by day - hardcore gamer by night" so I mean EVERYTHING he touches comes out on schedule... clearly he is that awesome.

9)Wait so its a problem that GFW-Live requires that you have launched a GFW-Live product? Meh, I'll give him this one, it would be cooler to run Live without a game to play... oh wait... you know what pisses me off? I have to have OSX installed to use Garage Band... I mean that's just pointless

8)For an engineer this guy seems to be a little off. So 2 iterations of a service on a hardware controlled device is better than the first try at a piece of software running on any given PC? I'm starting to think his use of the word engineer has something to do with trains.

7) Holy shit! What really? You mean you expect every cool awesome feature to work instantly? Me too! Glad I didn't buy a PS3 they control their hardware and can't make this stuff happen. My guess is no one posting on Joystiq in the past 24 hours has the exact same setup... what this means is that making the cool little things happen is a whole hell of a lot harder than it is on a console.

6)THE FUCKING WEB PAGE! His number 6 complaint is the web page... should the web page be better? Sure, but what the hell does that have anything to do with... well anything? I've never cared for Firefox's web page but what the hell does that have to do with the application?

5)Wow back to the web page... yes 20% of this guys problems resolve around something that most likely is not even controlled by the same programmer as the actual application... but apparently that doesn't matter! Yeah broken links are bad but I think its summed up all by this statement: "Example: Although it's fixed now, a link on the Shadowrun page used to take me to a page about Alan Wake (which didn't contain much information either)." Wait... what? They fix problems? For shame Microsoft... for shame.

4)Alright... this is something that you would think would have been an initial feature... if only this wasn't the first and only release of this ever. It's like Xbox Live I mean it has not added one feature since it began, it's exactly the same.

3)Heh, alright limiting the number of people in your buddy list probably wasn't the best idea... let's put it this way, if you have 100 friends that you need to keep be in contact with at any given time you are clearly one awesome dude, hell the weird guy in my office who never showers has 2000 friends on myspace so I think we can draw comparisons.

2)Alright half of this argument is moronic, the other half is pure hilarity. Alright the main link from something that requires Vista says you have to be using XP... that's actually quite funny, but I mean they will never fix that so clearly that's why this should be the number 2 complaint. On the other hand requiring Vista and not making this work for XP is actually just a smart decision... Will anything and everything written for OSX support OS9? Probably not, but hey Apple isn't MS so you would never put those kinds of requirements on them.

1)For the love of Allah! No 3rd party support? Uh hello Nintendo! Come on, they just released this why does everyone hold MS to this godly level but at the same time bitch at everything they do!

Oh and Resvrgam saying that the PS3/PC (don't get me wrong I love the PC... I do think the PS3 is something that should probably have been the PS4 and release in 2010 with a decent video card) are superior platforms shows that you don't have a clue as to whats going on, which thereby invalidates all of your claims.

Oh and I understand that the current generation is unable to read this many correctly spelled words with punctuation, so to sum this all up don't bitch until you have tried something that is 1/10th of what MS is trying, if you have and find that your idea is better, don't bitch because you just became the next billionaire... What the hell? You're a war games guy? Yet you are clearly a PS3 fanboy (you know because teh Japanese LOVE war games?)?!

God of War 3? God of War 2 hasn't been released so keep dreaming about that, maybe it will come out when Sony says programmers will be able to grasp the true power of the magical cell processor (that should be around 2015).

Metal Gear Solid is about stealth and has some fighting... Assasins Creed is about stealth and some fighting...

The only game you list that is a "war" game is COD3 and thats better on 360. You're a war game junkie but probably think Gears of War is stupid for one reason or another. Oh wait sorry Resistance is a war game, but I liked it more when it was called Call of Duty (Does it matter if its a WW2 game with aliens instead of Nazis... I mean come on Assasin's Creed is just Prince of Persia in white, right? I mean thats what you said).

I'm so sick of you Sony fanboys, you can't even form a rational argument. If you're a war game junkie (ie you care more about war games then any other factor) why wouldn't you be an Xbox fanboy? I mean come on, Gears of War, Rainbow 6, Ghost Recon, Call of Duty 2/3...

But you're not a war game fan (well according to the games you have listed) you're an action fan. Assasins Creed looks nothing like Prince of Persia... so let's see you have never seen the only gameplay footage available on the web and you have assumed that since it has Arabs in it, it must be like Prince of Persia?

So why do you hate (and by you I do include all of the clone army that is the Sony Fanboy Union... seriously you guys should get a pay check from Sony for the BS you spew) Assasin's Creed? While I am sure you will disagree it comes down to this (considering this game would fit nicely into what you consider "war" games): The game was rumored to be a PS3 exclusive and that probably made you feel all tingly... Sony isn't going to fail they can still get important exclusives you thought to yourself... then one day you wake up to find out that Assasin's Creed will be coming out on the 360... then the nail in the coffin, Assasin's Creed has more advanced AI on the 360 due to the limitations of branch prediction with the cell processor... long story short now you think this game is stupid and nothing.

The Sony fanboys need to call a meeting and discuss logical arguments, it would make you guys come off just as delusional assholes and not moronic delusional assholes.

So if you are a fan of war games buy a 360 and ditch the war game sparse PS3 because it shouldn't matter which system you are enjoying you're war games on... but thats not the case you do care more about which system the game is on then what the game is and that makes a Sony fanboy. So while everyone (excluding you) is "jerking off to video games" why don't you stop reading a video game blog and go play with your Dad's gun collection. You're unbelievable use of logic should make quite exciting.

Did anyone read through the link about Sony Fanboys fearing MS can code better... anyway brings me to the point that I think I don't love the 360 as much as I hate the PS3. What it comes down to is the people, I have yet to read a PS3 forum that doesn't turn into a we worship sony who can not possibly do any wrong circle jerk.

Seriously the PS3 isn't even out yet and PS3 fanboys claim its the next coming! It's not impossible that Sony is using so many resources since they are trying to make the PS3 the all in one wonder machine. Though I doubt these numbers are accurate, if there OS really takes that many resources I must have coded it.

Not to mention it takes a lot of processing power to run the rootkit that comes preloaded for your pleasure on all PS3's. :)
