You don't have wifi at your house?

Wrestlemania 26 Predictions

Mar 28th 2010 1:19PM (Fanhouse Main)
HHH is losing, unless the WWE just wants to bury sheamus into a comedic jobber who gets drunk and rants on that he was a former world champ, it's not going have him lose to HHH in some squash match.

Give HHH a little bit of credit, he'll put him over and others he deems worthy. Unfortunately if you look at him wrong you'll probably be buried to oblivion..

I have to say I think it's going to be a pretty big face sweep.. with the exception of Showmiz and maybe CM Punk or Jericho. It's worth noting that every champ is a heel right now and that's set up to have a feel good wrestlemania.

I'd love to see Rey join the SeS, have him sort of slowly turn heel, because Rey's never been a heel and he's never done anything but play the babyface ultra underdog.. I hope as a performer he at least attempts a challenge before he retires.

Dear Apple: What we want to see for iPhone 4.0, part 1

Jan 11th 2010 1:14PM (TUAW.com)
I gotta laugh at how much of this is like Android.

How about

1. Higher res screen.. anyone who has used a Droid or Nexus one know how important a higher res screen is. Text is sharper and easier to read and things just generally pop out more. My iPhone 3G's screen is absolutely a joke in comparison. It seems muddy really. The iPhone's screen was great in 2007, but now in 2010 they have to up their game.

2. Better home screen.. I have to laugh at anyone who uses the "iPhone has the best UI" speel because it's really ridiculous. It was built for a page of apps and nothing more. Now that there are hundreds of worthy apps to have installed on the phone, I find myself limiting them based entirely on the fact it's too much of a bother to organize and keep them organized.

Folders are an obvious, something like Android's pull up menu for all the apps so that I can just keep the ones I use more regularly on my home screen. Also like it's mentioned in this article, more info and maybe widgets on the home screen.

3. Multitasking - This should really be #1 but it's entirely ridiculous that a phone as powerful as the 3GS can't multitask because Apple thinks everyone is moronic and can't manage it. Also a notification bar, so that I don't have AIMs popping up mid web browsing and I can just save them for later.

Basically they need to look at Android and take a couple of things from it because they are truly great ideas..

Motorola Calgary / Droid Devour spotted in silver, Bluring it up

@Average White Boy

4 smartphones (Droid, Calgary, Blur, and that ATT Android) spread over 3 networks is confusing?

Editorial: Hey, AT&T -- drop lawsuits, not calls

Good article, it's funny when AT&T fanboys (I can't believe there are network fanboys.. really) try to claim Verizon's 3G is typically much slower then AT&T's and is closer to EDGE.

I quit on my iPhone, I'm done waiting for 3G in the Asheville metro area (400k), I think the breaking point was when I was taking a shit and pulled my iPhone to check a Engadget and I actually finished taking the shit before Engadget was finished loaded.

I can't tell you how relieving it is to finally be able to browse the web on the shitter competently with 3G speeds on my Droid.

Maybe I should sue AT&T for ruining my life, there is a chance that I could be the 10k siteview and win a free iPod Nano if it wasn't for their shitty coverage.

Verizon takes another swing at AT&T, puts iPhone on the Island of Misfit Toys

Yeah but Windows Mobile was stylus, I'm sure he means finger UIs (I'm guessing that's why he has touch in quotes).. and please don't bring up some skin program that could sorta make basic things touch happy, slowing down the already slow WM.

People do respect that Apple really did start this smart phone revolution, and yeah maybe without them we wouldn't have a lot of what we have today like fully touch controls, like more open phones (ie carriers not restricting phones), competent web browsing, etc.. but people are mainly spitting venom at AT&T, and Apple signed this deal with Cingular knowing full well how far behind they were both Verizon and even Sprint. Apple went for the sweet paycheck with Cingular anyways.

It also doesn't help when you decline apps for no reason, disallow basic features like customization, multitasking.. etc.

Review: Demon's Souls

Oct 12th 2009 6:50PM (Joystiq)
It's the quality of the review. Not once did he specifically mention any real events that happened to him. Not once did he write anything personal in this review. I remember on an inFamous review (or preview) on this site the reviewer/previewer mentioned specific events that happened to him.. things like running into someone who was crying on the street about losing their family and how that really got to him.

This review reads and sounds like a write up of the pros and cons list from other reviewer, with fluff inbetween.

It's not this "OMG PS3 BIAS" that people are whining about, it's the quality of the review, and it's not just this review, this entire site seems to be content with the slide from original thoughts, reviews, and news stories with "Rewriting Kotaku"
