I'm actually disappointed by this weeks XBLA release.

But, that's only because I have a 4 player TMNT arcade cabinet not more than 20 feet from my Xbox360.. :)

Where is Castlevania?

My console was one of the ones affected by the fall update. After I updated the console started locking up.

I called microsoft, and even though my console is a year old and 9 months out of warranty they replaced it free of charge. I guess it all depends on the Technical Support rep you talk to.

Wild Homes:

1080p will be supported over component cables for games only. Movies(DVD and HD-DVD) will not be upscaled to 1080p over component cables. Where as everything will be 1080p over VGA.

Kinda sucks, but you can blame Hollywood's lawyers and copyright restrictions for the restiction on component cables. Not Microsoft.

Of all the things that have happened since DNF was announced.. this is by far the saddest:

All of the new features are a breath of fresh air.. Wonderfully executed!

One problem. Why... WHY.. is DVD upscaling only available through the VGA cable, and not through Component cables? I mean, it's nice being able to watch a DVD in 1280x720 on my 21 inch monitor.. But I'd much rather watch a DVD in 1280x720 on my 56 inch HDTV.

Please say this was a small oversight and will be corrected shortly!

James, let me point out that you just agreed with Jack Thompson. Let me make small changes to your post to demonstrate:

The fact remains that it isn't illegal, or punishable, unless it was a physical act. By your thinking, if I write a book about a paedophile, I should be arrested becuase it could give someone sick ideas they could act out in real life.
