I hated BF2 once they started fractering the community by releasing not only new expansion packs, but made the new weapons availble in BF2 play. IE hey you have to buy the pack or else everyone who did has an advantage over you. Oh, and forcing ads down my throat to by them every time I run the game doesn't help either.

It hurts me that people like this win at life.

The compatiability of the X360 controllers with PC games is crap anyway.

Hmm. Right now I'm on the fence in terms of whether I'll get a 360 or PS3. I'll wait and see what the Christmas period brings.

I do find it incredibly odd that after 10 years of the same exact controller, and finally some "standard" controller compeition (Xbox S and now 360 controller) Sony just seems to keep it's fingers in it's ears.

The controller is the biggest irk for me. I mean it looks EXACTLY like the PS2 one. The PS2 controller is great no doubt, but it's not like it can't be improved. Any teenager with a PlayStation could give them some pointers.

God I was pretty sure they'd be sticking with the base PS2 controller after the whole boomarang thing, but I hope they at least streamline it a bit. They could definately improve the control sticks with a few tweaks.

And I'm only really mildly interested in the motion sensing, it's definately no where near as defining as the Wii, and I can only really see it being used on select first party titles for more analogue movement.

I mean didn't microsoft release a motion sensing controller with Motocross madness? The sidewinder or something? The novelty wore off and you could play the game fine with a keyboard.
