After updating the Wii twice online, my cursor has a refresh/lag thing going on. Its like how your mouse pointer looks when you adjust your computer monitor from 120hz refresh to 60hz refresh. This ONLY happens in the home screen/options/a few others. It doesn't affect the cursor in games, and changing the sensitivity in options does NOTHING for it. I miss my old cursor that was smooth as butter. :(

Mr. Hinkle, many people are experiencing a major lag/refresh issue with their cursor on the home screen after downloading the two updates which are required to get online. Can you find out what the deal with this is? Seems like it doesn't happen to all systems, but it certainly has happened to mine and it sucks.

By the way, after installing both updates, my cursor on the main home screen now lags like a bitch. Also, the only time I ever see my blue disc drive light turn on is for half a second when I first boot up the system, and never after that no matter what I'm doing/inserting. :(

For me, all the fun comes from multiplayer. There is no way I'd buy a CoD game without multiplayer support.

Why the hell do these insignificat stories keep coming up? Joystiq CLEARLY enjoys watching Microsoft/Sony/Nintendo fans go at it multiple times a day. It gets beyond repetitive. I'm so close to forgetting about this site, which is a bit of a downer because I used to come here for actual news. There is never anything good said anymore, just stories to put companies/people down.

That simple interface looks awesome for everyday use, just like the PSP interface is. You'll slide in the disc, the interface will jump directly to the icon that lets you play the disc, and a cool video/animation of the game with start up in the background of the game you're about to play. When simply browsing the interface, you'll have your favorite high-res picture in the background. So what are people complaining about again?

Easy fellas. There was a Famitsu article that specifically stated the animations in the MGS4 TGS video were to be placeholder animations used from MGS3 since the MGS4 ones had yet to be finalized.

On a side note, DMC4 looks to have awesome gameplay from the TGS video footage.
