It was fun for a bit, but I quickly got bored with it. I'm not sure how long it's supposed to take to get out of the starting forest area, but I never seemed to get out. Still, it's free, so I can't complain.
I really like this version. I've been a fan of all the other games, but it's nice to see significant changes to the formula. The slingshotting around planets is really fun. The only thing I'm disappointed in is that the eagles are now microtransactions again instead of just a pay-once deal. I know you can get them by playing the game, but from my experience so far, you don't really get that many that way...
I haven't had a chance to try the demo yet, but does this work in practice? It seems like my kinect can never hear me when action is happening, and it's not like I'm really far away or anything. In Halo:CEA I had to mute the TV whenever I wanted to scan anything.
