If you read the report, that wasn't his "hopes" or his "goal". People were asking how he felt about the Vita ONLY selling 500k in Japan, and he said that even if they ONLY sold 500k in the US, that would be fine. I'm sure his actual "hopes" and the company's expectations for the US launch is much higher than that.

I was pissed for a second, because I already bought all my Vita games from Amazon, but I see they fixed their WipEout and HSG prices (from $29->$39). I paid $99 for all 3 of my launch games (U:GA, W2048, HSG), and this would have cost me $90. Not as pissed anymore.

WipEout. But, if you get theta first you probably won't play anything else... get Fifa. I feel like that will get old fastest.

Wow, every single downloadable PSP game I have is NOT on that list.

Gran Turismo PSP? Nope.
Jak: The lost frontier? Nope.

Super Stardust Portable? Nope.

Every review I read for an Uncharted game says "little to no replay, since the story is always the same." I don't understand this at all, because I've played every Uncharted game at LEAST 4-5 times... my Uncharted 2 in game "Time Played" counter can attest to that with 40 hours played in the single player. I can only imagine how many hours I've logged in Uncharted 1 over the years. I don't see myself NOT playing Golden Abyss at least 3 times (Normal 1st run, then a Hard for trophy cleanup, and finally Crushing)

Here's the thing guys: Resistance 3 DID take a huge leap. To everyone saying "The first two were bad, so unless this one is miraculously different and better..." you are exactly RIGHT. It was a huge improvement over R2. It had some of the most fun to use weapons I've ever used in a FPS, and the campaign was actually very well done. They managed to fit a very touching story into the game, and that combined with the awesome weapons, and the beautiful art direction, made this game the best FPS of 2011, in my opinion.

tl;dr: this game is way better than the other two. go pick it up for cheap right now.

I don't think so. "Season 1" is not an actual part of the title. Also, if you check the trophy list for the game, it actually contains 3 seasons: 2048, 2049, AND 2050. So, it wouldn't make sense if the "Season1" moniker was actually a thing, since in reality it's seasons 1-3.

I think "Season 1" refers to the fact that in the WipEout universe, this game takes place at the very beginning of the sport. It is, essentially, Season 1 of the Anti-Grav Racing League.
