Really? The gameplay (for a game that you haven't played and which has yet to be released) is top notch? I thought the gameplay in the trailer looked like a twitchy mess.

Every time I see a trailer for the Sam and Max games I have the exact same sentiment. The voice acting for Sam is just plain uninspired.

@s1l3n70n3: I understand peer pressure and the compulsion to follow your boss on a night out. But if you're really only doing it to please your boss you can still maintain some self control and not spend beyond your means. The same can be said about going out with bosses/co-workers in the US. The peer pressure is there, the social side effects of not being in the "in" crowd are there, I have experienced them. But who is to blame for giving in to them? Me, and me alone. Same goes for chocky's hypothetical game programmer who spends $50+ a day on food and drink. If you're really only doing it to please your boss you can still maintain some self control and not spend beyond your means. You don't have to buy $7 beers. There are cheaper (albeit non-alcoholic) beverages you can drink. I'm not saying it would be easy...I'm simply saying.

Choky...your dining argument does not hold water man - dorms have kitchens, Tokyo has grocery stores. And your argument about drink costs is hilarious. You have to drink alcohol because your boss does? What world are you living in?

...so really they're making 2g's a month with no rent to pay? They could be doing much worse.
