But isn't making something just because you want to the best reason to create anything? I agree that it sounds silly from a consumer perspective, but I bet the developers are having all kinds of fun just running with it.

Probably because that claymation style fake trailer was such a better idea.....

yes! That game was Shockingly good (and rather challenging)! I replayed that just recently. Another better one would be Legend just to se how they handle the story line..
