I had the exact opposite experience. My 360 was fine until it got the RROD. When it was repaired and sent back is when I started getting the E74 error. It happens once a week now and I can never get my 360 to boot on the first power up. I have to power it off and on a couple times before it works.

Chainsawdomizer, it's much more intense.

This would go in my cubicle at work to join the ongoing battle that is my cube.
