Breakfast Topic: What would the ultimate raid be?
Mar 20th 2010 9:05AM (WoW)Or it could be defend Stormwind thing like Mount Hyjal. You would keep falling back and back until eventually you take a boat off the city.
I dunno, just a random thought. I'm tired now.

Mar 6th 2010 6:48PM (WoW)Oh, just one little nitpick. Instead of linking characters to WoWHead, can you guys link to WoWiki or previous Know Your Lore articles so I can read up on more lore? Just seems to make sense to link to other lore articles.

Mar 4th 2010 1:36PM (Joystiq)Breakfast Topic: If you could redo features in Wrath, what would they be?
Mar 3rd 2010 12:02PM (WoW)First thing is the dailies in Wrath. They feel tedious and get boring after awhile. I always didn't like doing dailies in BC but I always got them done. Maybe it was because of the sense of urgency the Isle had because there were loads of NPCs and it 'felt' fun.
Second has to be just plain Questing in Wrath. Theres not a lot of interesting story lines. I mean, sure there a few good ones, like finding Muradin or helping Drakuru (that one Troll that turns to serve 'Da' Lich King), but there wasn't anything particularly new or anything that really kept me reading the Quest Logs. It just felt grinding quests in Wrath was a lot more of grind then in BC.
Everything also feels more empty, like theres nothing going on. Theres a few good spots, particularly Ice Crown, but theres no big monsters or anything that really immerses me in the World. Then theres those parts which just feel like there should've been something there, but theres not. I felt like Crystalsong had something going for it when I first discovered the lower FP, but I was disappointed to find there was NOTHING there! No quests at all! It feels like Dal has its own zone just for it because theres definitely nothing else in Crystalsong.
And as a DPS in Wrath, I felt much more useless. In BC I was always doing something more then DPS, like placing traps, misdirecting, kiting, etc. But theres none of this in Wrath, all I do is DPS. Maybe sometimes I'll place a trap if its really needed, but its never not. So I just sit there, facepalming the computer the whole time because most of the time theres nothing else much to do. I always get weird stares as well when I say I like the Gluth fight.
Then theres Dal which I felt poorly designed and such. Need not say much more.
