'Sharpie Parties' Wreak Havoc on Foreclosed Homes

Aug 19th 2012 1:53PM (AOL Real Estate)
I don't condone the actions of these people who thought up, organized, and actually took part in these parties. It is illegal and just puts that much more work on potential homeowners who have to now foot the bill to make the repairs and turn the house back into a livable home.

That said, you cannot turn a blind eye to the reason why these homes were vacant: the greed of the banks that created the over-run of foreclosures and vacancies. Had these banks stopped going after every penny they could squeeze out of those who took them on good faith then the houses wouldn't be empty for this to happen. That doesn't forgive these people, but there is a lot of blame to go around.

Taco Bell Demands an Apology After Beef Lawsuit Dropped

Apr 22nd 2011 6:38PM (Slashfood)
Seriously, dude, not everyone who'll tell you that your comment doesn't make any real sense is going work for Taco Bell. How about this: I test video game software for a living for a multinational company, NOT Taco Bell, and your comments don't make any sense. Taco Bell did what they could to prove that this lawsuit was bogus and was simply to harm their public image, regardless of what your personal image of them was. They responded properly, with accurate information, successfully knocked the plaintiffs on their rears, then want an appology for such a slanderous lawsuit and NOT money for legal compensation, and you don't like their response? Then you attack anyone who disagrees with you as "Working for Taco Bell," which is of course the only reason they'd tell you that you make no sense, right?
Sorry, but I don't like your responses, in general, to this article or its commenters. Never trusted you to begin with, and now I trust you even less. Good Riddance. You'll be bankrupt soon if you aren't already. Meanwhile, Taco Bell will continue to make decent profits off of the food that they sell. You'll continue to be jealous of their daily profits and survivability, and I'll go back to doing my comms testing while enjoying a steak quesadilla from Taco Bell. Hey, I said I don't work for them. I didn't say I wasn't a customer. Have a nice day! :)

Keri Hilson and Ciara Squash Beef

No, it's not an embarrassment. The headline on the homepage simply says Pop Singers Put an End to their Feud. It doesn't say who or why, just that they did. So, you come on to find out who. Then, it winds up being a pair of people that a larger number of people simply don't recognize. It's not to diminish the stars by asking "Who?" It's more a statement that says, "I've never heard of these people. If they were so big, why hadn't I heard of them before?"

Such as in my case.

Is it sad that I was just thinking that my wife would love this on her PT?

Ray Lewis Not a Fan of Proposed 18-Game NFL Schedule

Aug 25th 2010 3:48PM (Fanhouse NFL Blog)
If I'm reading this right, then they're just changing up a pair of pre-season games for a pair of seasonal games. If that's the case, and not just tacking on another 2 games, then his argument is horribly incorrect. They're already playing the same number of games! Why should it matter if they have 2 preseason and 18 in-season instead of 4 pre-season and 16 in-season? IMHO, it's the same game! Bring on the 18 games!

The Top 9 Fashion Trends Women Love -- And Men Love to Loathe

May 24th 2010 1:18PM (Lemondrop)
I have to say that I disagree with the Red Lips thing. I personally find a woman who has the courage to wear bright red sexy! Remember, your body biologically makes your lips more red or darker due to more blood flow when a woman's aroused. So, yea, reds are good.
The faux-leopard... WEll, that's iffy. It can look good if it's tasteful and not the micro-leopard that is all the rage now. A properly sized fur can look very nice in small doses.

Woman Claims Microwave Popcorn Irreversibly Damaged Her Lungs

May 10th 2010 2:16PM (AOL Health)
I eat two or three bags of microwave popcorn a day and take good care of myself? I'm sorry, but if I get some kind of funky disease because I can't lay off the snacks and make the consious decision to CONSTANTLY eat something that's less than healthy from me, I get what I deserve! That's what an AIR POPPER is for! Just another frivilous lawsuit that's making lawyers rich and the rest of us more and more broke. IF this case makes it to court, then the rest of us are gonna have to pay for this woman's excess. Blah... Sick of this crap!

Video: World's first Apple iPad in-car installation looks pretty clean

Apr 6th 2010 12:43PM (Autoblog)
Danny, I think you need to do your own research.
See, if you are willing to give Apple another roughly $100, your iPod Touch XL, err, I mean iPad, will come with a 3G connection, allowing for *gasp* internet connection. That's what he's referring to.
Don't call a fail until you're sure you're right.
Have a nice day.

Andy Ihnatko: iPad is pure innovation, one of best computers ever

Apr 1st 2010 1:02PM (TUAW.com)
Mostly due to Apple's incessent use of NDA.

That being said, hey, I'll just save some money and pick up, oh, I dunno, the iPod touch, save some money, and have the majority of the features of this "purely innovative" product, and have it be mobile.

Or not. I'll stick with my real laptop, with real keyboard and real usability, thank you.
