I think this is to compensate for the new "Family Plan" they are offering. Unless the restrictions are drastic, you and three friends would be better off using the family plan anyway. It cuts the price of membership down to $25 per person.

Of course that depends on the restrictions the plan requires, ie do all gamertags have to live on the same xbox, and can you merge existing gamertags into a new family plan.

@McDuckScrooged Voids the warranty on the drive, not the Xbox. So in theory a cheap 120gb harddrive from the old xbox plus a cheap new arcade is cheaper in theory than a new 250GB 360, and you have 4gb onboard storage.

$30 is a great price for this game. Its not for everyone, but this is one of the games I've loved this year. I'd put this at the top of my list along with ME2.

@Hazdaz Making the Nexus One the official developers phone gives you an idea of the minimum hardware/environment you can expect for Android for the given version you are developing for. Basically Google is telling you this is the hardware to expect if you develop for Froyo. I would expect a new developer handset after Gingerbread.

I think it has to do with previous sales volume. The initial prices are the same, but the Xbox sells more units sooner resulting in lower prices earlier.

This would be great for me if the accounts can be logged in on different consoles simultaneously. I don't mind paying for live for my son and my brother as well as me if we can then play co-op on three different consoles. Or use Netflix on different consoles. That would be good.
