this looks the same as first one, which is fine by me because it pwned my balls and if it aint broke dont fix it. im interested in multiplayer. hopefully they throw in a party system. gears 1 was such a pain in the ass to play with friends. customizable soldiers would be nice.

how about some news on simple shit like in-game xmb? when am i going to be able to respond to a friends message without having to exit the entire game? how about some news on a sony licensed headset so i dont have to ufck with some other companys headset that works like shit on my ps3?

i dont have either version yet, but wanted to get it for ps3 because ive had the system for a month and still dont have a game for it. i had a feeling that something like this would happen. seems like sony keeps dropping the ball or some developer treats the ps3 like the man in the iron mask. i might have to pick up the 360 version if things dont start to shape up as far as the multiplayer stuff goes. i dont care about dlc or achievements, but i want to know that all parts of the game are going to work when i want to enjoy it.at the same time, i dont was a third RROD to put my GTA whoring on the sidelines.

im a 360 and ps3 fanboy. they both look great to me, but if you want to nit-pick about stupid stuff, youll always be able to find stuff wrong on both sides. i lean towards ps3 now only because the xbox is made like fisher price pieces of shit no matter how good the software is.
(im just bitter because of the 3rd xbox ive had to return, and the fact that 4 out of the 4 friends i have that bought one, all have had rrod)

they just need to start bringing prices down to a more affordable level. people like my parents (average joes) are not only going to compare the visual quality of upscaled dvd to bluray, but theyre going to compare 15.99 vs 27.99 for a new release. the prices are still too ridiculous when you go into a store. i buy mine online when there are deals. the difference to many (who are not A/V whores like ourselves) is not going to be big enough to justify spending ten or more dollars. not to mention a player thats at least $400.

sony pisses me off to no end. i fell for the "year of the ps3" hype also. i ended up finally getting one, and i still have to rely on my fisher price red ring of death box to deliver quality online service(im on my 3rd one). i was hoping the ps3 would give me reason to abandon that piece of crap, but with exclusives (dlc included), better online setup, developers porting half-ass work to the ps3, and now sony screwing the pooch on promises. not to mention that i was planning on playing the metal gear beta today that got what? delayed. im not a hater, just dissapointed at the relentless bad news that keeps smacking ps3 owners in the face.

im going to get the ps3 version because i still dont own a ufcking game for it. also, i never spend money on dlc. i havent purchased any episodes for oblivion, mass effect, or maps for halo,gears,cod4. i hate it when they try and shake you down for more cash when they couldve just out that shit in the game to begin with, or give it away like pc developers did. i hardly ever play games online with friends either because im a virtual loner.
