Napster didn't get a new advertising agency, nor are they thinking of getting new creative for their ads. They partnered with Winstar Interactive, a rep firm, to SELL their advertising inventory, which is something completely different. And that's not the same as selling subscriptions. Winstar will sell ads and sponsorships for Napster.com, which adopted a new ad-based model a couple of months ago.

What agency do you work for again? I'm going to make sure NOT to work there. Once I hear ROI and brand loyalty in relation to newer media platforms I start to cringe. The new agency kids that are currently at the lower levels are soon going to eat the old timers alive. I can't wait.
