ESA members asked individually about SOPA, some respond

Jan 6th 2012 11:48PM (Joystiq)
@Mcmax3000 They don't HAVE to leave, but it needs to be made clear that unless they do, the statement they release has no bearing on anything other than goodwill with the consumers. If your company supports the purchase and sale of blood diamonds but you don't, you can't just say, "I don't think this is right" and then go back to work. Your company supports the industry and you, by continuing to work there (regardless of your opinion), are part of that company and part of that support.

@Mcmax3000 They ARE guilty until proven innocent. As long as they are a member of the ESA, their statement means nothing because they're still supporting it as a member of the ESA.

34 people are holding an umbrella. Three of them says, I don't support this way this umbrella was made. All 34 people are still holding the umbrella. Five people = Developers in the ESA; Umbrella = SOPA.

No. It sounds like a terrible idea, but would probably be the best thing you've ever done.

Your gifts are inferior.

I think it's a tie between Tecmo Superbowl on the SNES and Enter the Matrix.

IN TSB, my brother and I would sometimes find an instant touchdown glitch that made it so that you literally turned into a rocket when you caught the kickoff and would just weave around all the defenders. If you got caught, the game crashed.

In EtM, using focus mode would just get you stuck in a wall until you either died or returned the game (which I did).

Super Street Fighter IV: The Legend of Chun-Li's 149-hit combo

Dec 8th 2010 8:00AM (Joystiq)
You guys don't appear to realize that the Lightening Legs has pushback. He wasn't just spamming the kicks. He was using the kicks to increase the combo count, using her crouching Fierce Punch (which is a 1Frame link, meaning he has to have PERFECT timing) to bring himself back in, and EVEN THEN, on some of the kicks, he would get pushed out to a distance where the FP would not bring him in far enough so he had to release a charged Kikoken, FADC it then start the process over. Now, an FADC uses two stocks of the Super (blue) meter down there, so there's no way that it could be an infinite combo or even close to one.

Definitely not Rufus from Street Fighter 4.

Probably someone classy like Rose from Legend of Dragoon.
