metal gear solid 4. gameplay-wise it made the camo system easier to use (maybe to easy - but it was better than the menus) giving full realization to an awesome idea.
and story-wise...i think he should get a medal of honor or something for figuring out how to clean up and finish the story without too many loose ends or causing players to have aneurisms.

played the original for pc years ago. it ruled but i sucked at it. really got into the sands of time trilogy (in spite of emo prince). new one kinda sucked though. i'm excited that they're going back to what works.
