I wish there was an option to turn the "crazy" version on, instead of removing it altogether. Seems like that would make everyone happy.

I thought so too, but it really does make a huge difference while gaming. The increased weight as well as the feedback ... it had been so long since I had that, that I almost forgot how much more immersive it makes the gaming experience.

I am glad they used the "red" packaging and not the "yellow" we saw for EU.

This was the most minimalist post I have ever seen on this site...

Also, it was released during a crowded holiday season. I bought it, however, because they took a lot of time and gave the PS3 version some much-deserve/rarely-received TLC ... I just needed to support it. Gift cards helped my decision.

I don't play it however. The gameplay just "feels" straight out of 1998. COD4 took a lot of time away from it and if I want something kind of "futuristicy", I play Warhawk (great game).

I love the ability to put mods on PS3 version. Love the support but it seemed to lack that something special. If I were a die-hard fan, I would have been more into it.
