@Mr. Zero, if they put Land of Confusion on here, it should be the original by Genesis,.

X3F TV -- XBLA in Brief: Braid

Aug 6th 2008 7:17PM (Joystiq Xbox)
I don't understand what there is to like about this game. This game would be much better on PSN. At least they wouldn't overcharge for it. This game should be no more than 400 points. It doesn't even deserve to be 800 points. XBLA is starting to be a joke yet again. And yet people defend the price point. Sure, I won't buy the game, but no-one should. Anyone that does is just another shill for M$ in my opinion.

Just something else that makes me want M$ to fail and get out of consoles all together.

X3F TV -- XBLA in Brief: Golf: Tee It Up! and Schizoid

Congrats to Dustin on his claim to fame there outside of X3FB. They
sure did keep their word about it, didn't they?

BTW, you do get some residuals for that, do you?

Microsoft may consider Blu-ray if consumers demand it [Update]

Jan 8th 2008 11:16PM (Joystiq Playstation)
This is actually nothing new. Peter Moore did say back in '06 that they would consider making Blu-Ray drives if BD won the format war. Even though MS supports HD-DVD, it doesn't mean that they suffer if it fails. It's not their format. Never was. MS is only behind it because it uses their codec HDi.

Having said that, I did see an interview on X3F (sister site of this one) with Jeff Bell, saying that they are still trying to get Blu-Ray to use the HDi codec, which is a lot easier to use than the BD Java that's in the Blu Ray format. They kinda do the same thing, but HDi was implemented in HD-DVD first, and so those features were in HD-DVDs as opposed to Blu-Ray.

It's also believed that if BR was to use HDi from the word go, then MS would have supported that format, and there would have been a very short format war. But, oh well. So to all you haters out there, Microsoft is not really hurting because HD-DVD is failing. Toshiba is. It's their format.

Joyswag: Joystiq's Legendary Halo 3 Giveaway

Well, the one thing that I wouldn't want to fight is the Brutes...They are the strongest and the toughest out of the line of enemies. Even if they didn't use their weapons in a fist brawl, there's no way I could match their power.
