Holy crap. Lets say the apps each costed $1.99 on average. That would mean you have bough 800 apps. That means you would need 50 home screens to store them!

How is this allowed? A 3rd party app talking to an addon in game in real time?

The Million dollar question, because with the way push works that app will have to create a web based site and run servers that keep you logged in a checking for tweets.

I don't expect all the twitter apps will want to / be able to set this up.

I would guess Twinkle will get it first since they already have a backend set up / started.
