Very strange stuff indeed! The applications and possibilities are very cool though.

I remember playing Halo: Combat Evolved on this new at the time (original) Xbox while I was in college. I hated it at first. The controller seemed awkward, I was terrible at it and I couldn't stand it. But they kept getting together and system linking the game at LAN parties and kept coming out to them because it was neat to have that many people playing together.

Best memory? I kept getting sniped by one individual, and finally after I respawned for who knows how many times, I snuck around the edges of the map (Blood Gulch actually) and with a melee from behind (for the first time) instantly killed him. From that moment forward I loved Halo. I got an Xbox and Halo that same week...

Yeah, like most here, I played the demo and enjoyed it for the most part, but I have SO MANY other games on my backlog to play or finish playing... Winning this will only add to that, but it's not that bad of a problem to have! :)

Kind of funny that Amazon is selling Call of Duty games on their gold box deals the day after EA's Medal of Honor released...

Yeah, that would make a lot more sense. Game developers are in the business of making money afterall.

I read here on Joystiq some time ago that Pinball FX 2 is supposed to be free. If that's true then I don't see any reason to not get just a little bit excited for some pinball action... ;)

At any rate, Hollywood is full of idiots! Contrary to what they apparently believe, big budgets films don't always equal big box office success. James Cameron's Avatar being the exception.

Haha! Hollywood didn't want to bankroll something for an ungodly sum of money?! Maybe that's why they can't recoup the losses on a lot of their films these days. Nothing risked, nothing gained! Seriously though, Hollywood really has a disturbing attitude regarding the 'business' of making movies...
