@Vesuvium I agree the 7 is the best, but to explain the PoR/RD love, for many US Fire Emblem fans in was their first experience with the series, so they developed a special attachment to it. RD is my second favorite next to 7, the biggest complaint I can throw at it is its ludicrous difficulty. Had the curve been more reasonable, and if they'd done a better job with a few of the Dawn Brigade units (coughMegcough) it would have been my favorite in the series.
Also, no one likes Shadow Dragon. Literally no one. I don't know where you got that idea.
@KGameLover1 The Brentalfloss comic was meant to be a joke about how idiots always name RPG characters childish stuff like ballz and turd, and the humor was meant to kick in when you realized the player didn't name the character scrotum, the game itself was actually about scrotums.
I was under the impression that some kind of expansion model was mandatory. GW2 starts off in Tyria, The main continent of GW and GW:EotN, with access to Cantha and Elona, the continents of Factions and Nightfall respectively, cut off. I had assumed that they'd release some kind of expansion to allow access to the other two continents. Wait, now that I think of it, the story of GW2 doesn't even have you kill all of the Elder Dragons, only Zhiatan. The big baddie is actually Primordus. Expansions are GUARANTEED.
The Internet at large has the same worries we're expressing here, and it's someone's job over at Nintendo to pick up on that and respond. If enough people complain then they'll go for a redesign, compromising between hard core functionality (which they obviously are catering to this time around. I would have laughed hysterically at the idea of putting Darksiders on the Wii yesterday) and the sleek tablet look that's become so appealing to consumers. If they don't meet the deadline then they'll just push it back, no worries.
I've already gotten my 6th birthday present. The nine-rings in Shing Jea finally pushed my lucky title to tier two: giving me the last Hall of Monuments point I needed to unlock all of the exclusive Guild Wars 2 items! That, and my favorite title of the bunch: "Closer to the Stars". Check me out in the calculator or in-game as "Lyon Artime" if you want to see my manly accomplishments :D. I have a lot of reason to celebrate!
