ok. i work at gamestop. a little over a year now. if the companies sent us display copies of games then we wouldn't have to gut games. but we don't have that luxury. my store actually tried taking art we use for marketing to stop gutting new games, but it just didn't work. and we only sell the gutted copies as a last resort when we've sold out of all the other copies. its not us being "evil" its just we don't have the luxury of keeping all our games behind locks like walmart. and as for checkouts, yeah, when i first started we were able to check out new games. but the employee handbook actually states you are only supposed to checkout USED games. and only when there are multiple copies usually. but it does come down to the manager of the store. some actually allow checkouts of new games. BUT the company has it listed in their handbook as only used may be checked out. because yes. it is not right to sell a new game as "new" if someone else has already played it. some managers allow this to give their employees a chance to play the game so they can better sell the game so when someone comes in to ask about the game, they can give accurate information.

I wouldn't want to face Brutes. I wouldn't want to face Hunters, but I think they're kinda cuddly lol. But Brutes are big stinkin apes and they probably eat their own feces.
